DAF New Generation truck family the new XB model (also electric) for city distribution
The new truck family is conceived for the 7.5 – 19 tonnes class, with ranges of up to 350 km, as well as PACCAR PX-5 and PX-7 engines up to 310 hp, also ready for HVO as for thermal options. Alongside the XB series for on-road applications, DAF is also introducing the XBC series for construction.
Following the New Generation DAF XD, XF, XG and XG+ trucks for distribution, long haul and vocational applications, the Dutch manufacturer now introduces the brand-new XB truck model for city distribution. As stated by DAF, the new model series includes a comprehensive range of battery-electric vehicles to support transport companies in transitioning to zero emissions.
The new truck family is conceived for the 7.5 – 19 tonnes class, with ranges of up to 350 km, as well as PACCAR PX-5 and PX-7 engines up to 310 hp, also ready for HVO as for thermal options. Either 12, 16 or 19-ton versions will be available, and wheelbases start from 4.2 meters to 6.9 metres.
