The 33rd UICR Professional Driver World Championship (PDWC26) is the world’s premier competition for professional drivers – uniting skill, precision, and sustainability in a global showcase of excellence behind the wheel.
From 9 to 12 September 2026, professional drivers from around the world will gather in Eppelheim by Heidelberg, Germany, to demonstrate their mastery in both Skill Driving and ECO Driving across multiple vehicle categories – including truck, bus/coach, and delivery van.
Whether you represent a national authority, training centre, driver federation, transport company, or you are a professional driver yourself, we have already saved you a place.

Competitors will complete advanced driving skill tests, combining accuracy, control, and safety under time pressure, alongside ECO Driving challenges designed to measure efficiency, smoothness, and environmental impact.

About the UICR PDWC
The Professional Driver World Championship (PDWC) is organised by the UICR and hosted every two years in partnership with a national member association.
It brings together professional drivers from Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, who compete not only for medals but also for recognition as the world’s best ambassadors of road safety, skill, and environmental responsibility.
Each edition fosters international friendship, technical learning, and cross-sector collaboration, strengthening the image and reputation of professional drivers worldwide.
