During the NPDC and UICR PDWC competition, each driver can demonstrate his or her driving and inspection skills, knowledge and professionalism through a series of tests. The drivers undergo a written examination, a pre-trip inspection test and finally, the most visible – the skills test. These biannual competitions inspire thousands of drivers to operate accident-free for the right to compete.

The UICR believes that trained drivers have better opportunities in professional life and improve general road safety significantly.
