Professional Driver World Championship National Teams
Each Member Country of the UICR can enter one National Team per category to the UICR Professional Driver World Championship.
A complete National Team consists of:
- One delegate for the international jury
- One team leader (can be a driver)
- 3 drivers of the category A (solo truck >7.5t)
- 3 drivers of the category B (bus/coach)
- 3 drivers of the category C (tractor-trailer rig)
- 3 drivers of the category D (drawbar trailer)
- 3 drivers of the category E (young driver 21 years Solo truck < 7.5t)
- 3 drivers of the category F (delivery vehicle <3.5t)
If necessary one or several drivers can be nominated for the ECO Driving World Championship.
One spare driver may be named per category.
Furthermore, the world champions of the preceding world championship are qualified to participate and are additionally allowed to compete in their category.
Each participant can only compete in one category, except ECO Driving World Championship.
Each participant must present the previously successfully completed world championship qualifications and must be in possession of a valid driver’s license for his driving class, as well as providing proof of the professional driver qualification card (EU DQC).
Each participant must be able to show a valid membership card of a UICR Member Country.
The maximum age of the participants in category E is 21 years.
Apart from the national teams, the delegations can also consist of guests and press representatives.
Single driver competing at the UICR Professional Driver World Championship
Only a UICR Member Country can enter a single driver for the UICR Professional Driver World Championship in one or multiple categories. This driver can win his/her category but can not become a be the National Team winner.
Competitions with Non-Members Countries of the UICR
The UICR Council can invite a non-member country driver organisation to participate with a minimum of one team in one category or one team for each category to the UICR Professional Driver World Championship. But no single driver for any category.
