Form and Send a National Team to the 33rd UICR Professional Driver World Championship (PDWC26)

The UICR invites all National Transport Authorities to take part in the 33rd Professional Driver World Championship (PDWC26), which will take place from 9–12 September 2026 in Eppelheim, near Heidelberg, Germany.

This global event brings together the most skilled professional truck, bus, and van drivers from every continent to compete in Skill and ECO Driving disciplines — showcasing excellence, precision, and environmental awareness in road transport.

By creating and supporting a National Driver Team, your authority can:

Promote road safety, driver education, and professional standards nationally.

Inspire young and aspiring drivers to join the profession.

Celebrate the professionalism and commitment of your country’s drivers on the world stage.

Strengthen international cooperation and recognition in professional road transport.

Each national team represents its country across multiple vehicle categories — HGV, Bus/Coach, and Van — in a fair, skill-based championship that highlights road safety, vehicle control and efficiency, professional education and skill.
